This guide covers the most common issues users encounter on DesignAdvertise and how to resolve them.
Campaign won't launch
- Check governance — Open the campaign and look for red error badges. All governance errors must be resolved before launch.
- Check connections — Verify the target platforms are connected and authenticated in Settings → Connections.
- Check billing — Ensure your ad platform billing is active and your DesignAdvertise plan includes the campaign type you're creating.
- Check creative — All campaigns require at least one approved creative asset per channel.
Platform sync not updating
- Check connection status — Go to Settings → Connections and verify the platform shows 'Connected' (green).
- Re-authenticate — If the status shows 'Token expired,' click 'Reconnect' to re-authenticate.
- Manual sync — Click 'Sync now' on the connection card to trigger an immediate data pull.
- Platform delays — Some platforms delay data reporting by up to 3 hours. Check the 'Last synced' timestamp.
Creative generation fails
- Check your prompt — Vague prompts produce inconsistent results. Be specific about format, style, and content.
- Check brand profile — Ensure your brand profile is complete (logo, colors, voice) in Settings → Brand.
- Usage limits — Verify you haven't exceeded your plan's creative generation limits for the month.
- Content policy — Prompts that violate content policies are rejected. Review the error message for specifics.
Analytics data is missing
- New campaigns — Data takes 24–48 hours to appear for newly launched campaigns.
- Date range — Verify your date range filter includes the period you're looking for.
- Platform connection — Disconnected platforms won't report new data. Check Settings → Connections.
- Conversion tracking — Ensure pixels and tracking are properly configured on your website.
