DesignAdvertise integrates directly with Google Ads to manage Search, Display, Shopping, and YouTube campaigns from a single interface. This guide covers connecting your account, syncing data, and managing campaigns.
Connecting your Google Ads account
- Navigate to Settings → Connections → Add Platform
- Select 'Google Ads' and click 'Connect'
- Sign in with your Google account and grant the requested permissions
- Select the Google Ads customer IDs you want to manage (you can connect multiple accounts)
- Click 'Finish' — DesignAdvertise begins syncing your data immediately
What gets synced
DesignAdvertise syncs your campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, audiences, conversion actions, and billing data. Historical performance data for the last 90 days is imported on first sync. Ongoing data syncs every 15 minutes.

Bidding strategies
DesignAdvertise supports all Google Ads bidding strategies including Target CPA, Target ROAS, Maximize Conversions, and Manual CPC. When creating campaigns through DesignAdvertise, the platform recommends a bidding strategy based on your objective and historical data.
Troubleshooting
If your sync stalls, check that your Google Ads account is in good standing and that billing is active. Manager accounts (MCCs) require additional permissions — ensure you've granted access at the MCC level. Re-authenticate from Settings → Connections if your token expires.
