Brand governance is the system that ensures every piece of creative output from DesignAdvertise matches your brand identity. Define your rules once, and the platform enforces them automatically across all campaigns and creative generation.
Setting up your brand profile
Navigate to Settings → Brand → Profile. Upload your brand assets (logos, fonts, icons) and define your color palette. Specify primary, secondary, and accent colors with exact hex values. The platform will only use these colors in generated creative.
Voice & tone rules
Define your brand voice in the Tone section. Describe how your brand sounds — formal or casual, technical or simple, authoritative or friendly. Add specific language rules: words to always use, words to never use, and messaging frameworks. The AI applies these rules to all generated copy.
Example tone configuration:
Voice: Confident, approachable, direct
Always use: "built for", "designed to", "effortless"
Never use: "cheap", "basic", "simple"
Messaging framework: Lead with outcome, follow with how, end with proofVisual rules
- Logo placement — Define where your logo appears and minimum clear-space requirements
- Typography — Set allowed fonts, sizes, and hierarchy for headlines vs. body copy
- Imagery style — Describe the visual style for generated images (e.g., 'lifestyle photography, natural lighting, diverse models')
- Layout constraints — Define maximum text-to-image ratios, required safe zones, and CTA placement rules
Compliance checks
Every piece of creative passes through a governance check before it can be exported or launched. The check verifies color usage, logo placement, copy tone, character limits, and platform-specific policies. Non-compliant creative is flagged with specific issues and suggested fixes.
Governance audit trail
Every governance decision is logged in the audit trail. View which rules were applied, which checks passed or failed, and who approved overrides. Access the audit trail from Settings → Brand → Audit Log.
