Creative variants let you generate dozens of platform-optimized ad formats from a single brief. Instead of manually resizing and reformatting creative for each platform, DesignAdvertise handles adaptation automatically.

How variants work

When you create a piece of creative in Design Studio, the platform generates a 'master' version and then automatically produces variants for each target placement. Each variant respects the platform's specific requirements — aspect ratios, text limits, safe zones, and format guidelines.

Variant types

  • Platform variants — Same concept adapted for Google Display, Meta Feed, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest
  • Size variants — Standard IAB sizes (728×90, 300×250, 160×600, etc.) for display campaigns
  • Copy variants — Different headline and description combinations for A/B testing
  • Audience variants — Messaging tweaked for different audience segments while maintaining brand consistency
  • Seasonal variants — Adapted for holidays, events, or promotional periods

Managing variants

The variant panel in Design Studio shows all generated variants in a grid. Click any variant to preview it at full size. Approve variants individually or in bulk. Rejected variants can be regenerated with additional guidance.

A/B testing with variants

Assign multiple approved variants to a single campaign. DesignAdvertise will distribute them across the campaign and track performance by variant. The platform surfaces winning variants and can automatically pause underperformers based on your configured rules.
